Why host parties?

We began to host parties during the holiday season (at the end of the year) and then also at the middle of the year to deal with the typical attendance slowdowns in the startup ecosystems around the world. During these times business tends to slow down and people begin to travel a lot more. We wanted to create something that would be a bit more fun and easy to attend!

Think of it that startups don’t always have the funds to have a team party (holiday, picnic, etc) so Startup Grind hosts a big party where startups can bring their team and celebrate alongside the other startups in town.
